Yuengling Bottle Cap Earrings

Yuengling Bottle Cap Earrings
Prohibition wasn't enough to stop Yuengling, America's oldest brewery, from purveying delicious intoxicants throughout the dark ages of alcohol in America. Under the guise of an ice cream shop, the brewery distributed frothy brews to thirsty patrons. Much like the brewery, these Yuengling bottle caps lead a double life as one-of-a-kind earrings.

The earrings are handcrafted in an arduous process of sacrifice and determination. First, the contents of a Yuengling bottle are imbibed by artisan Alaina Clarke to free up her media of choice — the bottle cap. The bottle is then recycled and the cap is carefully hammered, cut and forged into a dazzling earring that's as bold as the beer company it represents. The process is then repeated to create a matching set. Finally, the artist takes a victory nap and the earrings are ready for sale.
